David H. Drake lives in Catskill, NY.
David Drake received his BFA in printmaking with a minor in photography from the Cleveland Institute of Art where he studied with Carroll Cassil, Ralph Woehrmann and Robert Jergens. After graduating, he taught photography in Cleveland Public Schools and began a lifelong practice of painting and drawing.
Previous solo exhibitions were held at Davis Orton Gallery (Hudson, NY) and Cabane Gallery (Phoenicia, NY). David has also exhibited at the Maryland Federation of Art (Annapolis, MD); Neville Sargeant Gallery (Chicago, IL); and Southern Vermont Arts Center (Manchester, VT). His work is featured in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
